GDPR checkbox for newsletter and contact form

It is mandatory for all companies in the European Union to place a checkbox for the acceptance of the legal notice and privacy policy and for the customer to check it (required) before subscribing to any newsletter or contact form.

An additional option in case a second check box needs to be added, which may be necessary and mandatory in some EU countries

The process for this request has been completed. It will be available with V3

Did you solve your issue or did you hear something about this topic? We removed the newsletter feature from the site and are thinking about using a third-party service - but actually I find this useless, if wisecp can do both - newsletter and double opt-in for customer registrations
